Delivery is free within a 30 miles radius of Gourmet2U, there will $1.00 per mile
charge thereafter. Google Maps Live Maps
Where are the meals prepared?
The meals are prepared in a licensed & Department of Health approved
commercial kitchen. We use only licensed and professional staff.
How are the meals prepared?
All meals are prepared from scratch using the freshest, finest and when
possible organic ingredients. Each meal is made especially for you! No
preserervatives, additives or fillers are used.
How big are the meals?
To simply put it, HUGE! One meal weighs between 28-32 ounces each. To put that
into relative terms. A standard frozen entrée that you might get from the
grocery store weighs approximately 9-11 ounces. Our meals are nearly 3 times
that size. One meal could serve two people, depending on your eating habits and
appetite.
How does this compare with grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning?
By ordering meals or packages from Gourmet2U, we will save you the time of
shopping, cooking and clean up. Many of our clients are very busy with their
professional lives, only shopping and cooking on weekends, this takes away from
their free time and doing things they enjoy. By ordering a weekly meal plan, we
can eliminate the shopping, cooking and clean up and allow you to spend time
doing what you enjoy.
How are my meals packaged?
Your meals are delivered fresh, not frozen and packaged in microwave safe
containers. Just heat and serve. Each meal is labeled with an expiration date,
ingredients and storage options such as "Do not freeze" or "Can be frozen". We
recommend that if you have frozen a meal, let it defrost overnight in the
refrigerator before microwaving.
How long will the meals keep?
Each entrée will last in the refrigerator about 5 days. If you need to store
longer than 5 days we recommend you freeze the items that can be frozen.
Depending on how many entrées you order, and how many meals you eat at home,
service can be sheduled as often as you need it.
How are the meals delivered?
Upon ordering a delivery date and time will be agreed upon. Allow 1/2 to 1 hour
window in which to expect your delivery. Someone will need to be home at the
time of delivery unless you have made other arrangements with Gourmet2U
